JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team! We are seeking a talented and skilled interior designer to support our team. You will be responsible for drafting complete design documents, permit sets, selecting furniture, fixtures, equipment and finishes, taking notes during client meetings, site visit, procuring product, and keeping our projects organized and detailed.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in drafting residential remodels

  • Construction Documents

  • Ability to communicate with city and county planning departments

  • Knowledge of design requirements, construction methods and materials for residential remodels

  • Knowledge of furniture, lighting, finishes, materials and color selections

  • Knowledge of CA Building Codes

  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Photoshop, Google Docs

  • Strong organizational abilities

  • Collaborative, self motivated, positive, adaptable and flexible with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Comfortable interfacing with clients, consultants, vendors and trades people

  • Houzz Pro project management software knowledge a plus

SCHEDULE & HOURS 

• • M-Th, 8hrs. & Friday, 4 hrs = 36 hrs./week
